This comprehensive programme draw on Social Philosophy and a wide range of intellectual resources, and theoretical perspectives to inform understanding of Comparative Youth Studies and Criminal Justice. It will also provide a broad introduction to social science in general and criminal justice in particular, including Social philosophy, Law and legal skills, Psychology, Sociology, Victimology and Criminal Justice.
The programme offers understanding of the youth in education and society. It provides different theoretical (philosophical and psychological and sociological) models of the youth and society. And examine how societies manage to help or hinder young people’s negotiation of the developmental tasks. It draws from different ideological and political perspective of what it means to grow up in modern global society, and innovative view of the youth and society.
