School of education is involved in developing learning transforming, and equipping the individual with skills to negotiate a part through life.  Recognises learning as a process by which a person constructs new knowledge, skills and capabilities. We see education as the best avenue through which people develop network of value systems and live a satisfied and fulfilled life. We seek to cultivate a spirit, or attitude of ‘us’ : ‘our’ society and ‘our’ world, tomorrow’s world.

The school is framed within strong academic teams of committed professionals dedicated to the delivery of learning, teaching and assessment for a wide range of programmes. The school enjoys a wide range of connections with employers and the local community, ensuring that students are taught the skills necessary for their progress in to successful employment within their chosen career. Increasing numbers of students wish to study on our undergraduate provision. The school is set to undergo considerable growth over the next five years. The range of courses offered will expand as new areas are developed.  The appointment of Professor Beatrice Dike has brought clarity of vision to CAEPR University, focusing on the student experience, research and research led teaching.   The University engage in research projects that promotes new ideas into education and policy development.

The school online undergraduate level courses is unique structure which brings some challenges, but primarily represents freedom from many of the constraints of more traditional institutions. We have a can do spirit-attitude and a willingness to try fresh ideas and new approaches in teaching and learning and in the way with liaison with partners.

About your degree

Undergraduate studies at CAEPR University are taught in two ways, through tutorials and through lectures/seminar. The tutoring system is a unique feature of the Centre For Academic Excellence Policy & Research University teaching and learning experience. Tutorial allows the tutor to develop your interest and ideas. We regard you typically very able, committed, and well-motivated. You bring to us another dimensions whilst, changing your own live through furthering your education with us. You and our staff of pre-eminent scholars from all walks of life, we make up an intellectually rich learning community. As a community, we reflect varied political, philosophical and methodological positions on educational and scientific thought. Your studies with us will have a firm grounding in research lead teaching. It offers you opportunities to acquire self-management, effective communication and presentation, problem solving, self-appraisal, logical attitude and innovative mind-set. You will be able to identify, formulate a plan, and put it into action.

Student support (Pastoral Care of Students)

The University set great store on the strong student support which we provide for students. Help, care and advice are typically in such confidential manner to support subject area, and increase opportunity of you to completing your degree. Your personal tutor play a key role, they will normally have responsibility for pastoral care to small group in their defined subject area.

Employability  

We’re committed to providing students with the opportunity to do work experience or volunteer oversee as this brings mutual benefits to partners and to students. You gain attributes beyond your qualifications and that is recognised by employers and society.

Paying fees

We believe everyone has right to education.

All students are liable for an annual tuition fee that does not cover registration and graduation.

Fee is set at affordable price.

The tuition fee you pay depends on the programme that you want to study.  It does not matter whether you are studying full-time or part-time and where you currently live.

You are required to pay tuition fee at the beginning of the academic year. You can also pay per semester.

Fees are expected to increase annually in line with inflation. The University reserves the right not to pass it on.

There may be no continuation fee and writing-up fee for delayed completion.

  • degree from another discipline
  • minimum of 2 A level, 3 AS with Five GCSE grade A- C including English and Maths,
  • HNC, BTEC, including Maths and English.
  • Holders of HND qualification in related courses can study for two years.
  • Holders of ordinary School Certificate including English and maths at grades A-C and have passed JAMB will be admitted at foundation degree.

On successful completion of the course, you will be able to

  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of how individuals are educated, informed, trained to critical engage with evidence.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the structural, personal and cultural systems and ideas which affect the education of individuals, groups and societies.
  • Analyse practical and theoretical educational situations, and synthesise solutions showing original and creative thought.
  • Plan, manage and reflect on your own learning and progression in acquiring graduate attributes appropriate either for entry to a career in education/training, or teacher training.
  • Communicate appropriately and effectively in a range of modes and media.
  • Demonstrate autonomy, self-reliance teamwork and leadership skills.

Studying in CAEPR University will give you a fun and challenging experience.

You may have joined us as either a full-time or part-time student. Full time students need 120 credits per year and to achieve this they usually take 3 units, each carrying 20 credits per semester. Part-time students need up to and not more than 80 credits per year which usually means taking 2 units per semester. You may also choose to take one unit per semester. The course is designed to meet your needs.

You must ensure that you register for all the units you are studying each semester.

Again every of our course offers you opportunities to acquire self-management, effective communication and presentation, problem solving, self-appraisal, logical attitude and innovative mind-set. You will be able to take ownership of your academic and personal development, able to identify, formulate a plan and put it into action.
